I have broken the first moon ritual of 2020 into three dependent parts. The more you put into the first part, the better the results.
As the moon grows in brightness, let it illuminate the real you. Let it show all your good points and all the places that could use help. No one is good at everything. The goal is not to point out failings, but to remind us that we are not alone, that we are strong and capable. The start of wisdom is recognizing what we do not know and acknowledge it.
So, for the first part, make a list of all those things with which you could use guidance (including guidance on what you need advice on if nothing comes to mind). Take your time; you have until the Full Moon. Take time to meditate and reflect on yourself and what happened during the day. Look for opportunities for self-improvement.
For this full moon phase of the ritual, get the list of what you just learned about yourself. You want to create a rune to express each item. I want you to also think of a color, scent, texture, or any other attribute which seems appropriate to define that item. Once you have these, practice the rune, and collect the additional items you will need for phase 3.
For the final phase, get a candle(s) and carve the runes, anoint them with the scent, add color (or put them in something that can radiate the color. You want them to burn completely and be safe; therefore, tea lights might be the best bet. You are calling forth to the universe to show you the guide(s) you need in your life to help you with these items.
